Regular testing is crucial to our program, helping you assess your knowledge and track your progress. When you click the "Test" button in the portal, you’ll be directed to the test page with two main options: Chapter Tests and Subject Tests
Chapter Tests:
These focus on individual chapters within each subject. After clicking the "Chapter Test" button, a dropdown menu of all subjects will appear. Select a subject to see all available chapter tests, and then choose the specific chapter test you want to take.
Subject Tests:
You have three types of subject tests, each designed to evaluate different levels of understanding: -
Each test is labelled with the subject name followed by the test code. For example, a Basic Subject Test for Environment is labelled Environment_BST, while an Advanced Subject Test is Environment_AST, and Multi-Subject Tests carry the suffix _MST.
All India Mock Tests:
These mock tests simulate the GATE exam environment, allowing you to practice under actual exam conditions. You can easily access them above the subject and chapter test buttons. Each mock test includes detailed analysis and video solutions for important questions, offering insights into areas you can improve.
The All India Mock Tests start on a fixed schedule, usually five months before the GATE exam. The test schedule is released annually in June, giving you ample time to plan and prepare effectively.
Video Solutions: Important questions from the All India Mock Tests include video solutions for better understanding and review. Make the most of these resources to sharpen your skills!
